Sunday 8:00 am
Every Sunday a portion of Christ Church’s congregation gathers for a simple service of Holy Communion. Worship takes place according to the traditional language of the Book of Common Prayer. There is no music at this service, making it a quiet and reflective way to start the week.
Sunday 10:00 am
This is the main worship service for Christ Church Seaway and it is the parish’s largest gathering of the week. Centred around the celebration of the Eucharist, the liturgy blends tradition with casual accessibility. Music varies from centuries old hymns and pipe organ to contemporary pieces led by a praise band. Worship at the main Sunday service is designed to be accessible for visitors and engaging for people of all ages. During the school year, Sunday school classes and youth programs are available. This service is followed by a time for refreshments and fellowship in the church hall.
Wednesday 10:30 am
The mid-week service is a short and casual gathering in the historic Christ Church chapel, located at the back of the main part of the church. During the liturgy there is an opportunity to receive the sacraments of Anointing and Eucharist. This is also a great opportunity to learn more about the saints of the church, as we follow the Anglican Church of Canada’s calendar of saints and holy days. This service is followed by a Bible study, then a soup and bread lunch.
