This month Bishop John announced two clergy personnel changes which will take effect this Fall:
- Archdeacon Frank Kirby will be retiring from full-time ministry effective October 31, 2018. Frank has served as incumbent of Trinity Cornwall for the past ten years and is also priest-in-charge of St. John’s Lancaster. Frank plans to continue serving the congregations of the deanery on a part-time basis.
- The Rev. Dr. Mary-Catherine Garden has been appointed incumbent of St. Martin’s Ottawa, effective October 1, 2018. This means that Mary-Cate will be leaving her role as assistant curate at Trinity and member of the St. Lawrence area clergy team in Late September.
Bishop John is committed to working closely with St. John’s Lancaster, Trinity Cornwall, and Christ Church Seaway to ensure all three congregations receive effective priestly leadership. Please keep Frank, Mary-Cate, and the congregations of the St. Lawrence area in your prayers during this time of transition.
