Turn clocks back 1 hour or be early for Church!

Don’t forget to turn your clocks back tonight by 1 hour unless you want to be early for church!

Fr Patrick will speak about All Saints’ Day and   Jane & Bill will also be speaking about The Saints with the Sunday School kids.

Julia has a great class planned for the Youth Group as well.  The Youth Group will be starting a Bottle Drive Fundraiser and will be starting a Yard Sale Donation Drive.  All money raised will be going toward Summer Camp 2015.

Join us after the service for some treats! Coffee hour will be served by The Bates & Sommervilles.

Time Change

Come and hear Fr. Patrick’s thoughts on Crime & Punishment

Did you know Fr Patrick spent some time in Prison Chaplaincy? Come to church tomorrow and listen to him speak about Crime & Punishment and his experience while in Prison Chaplaincy.

Nancy will lead Sunday School for kids ages 5-10 & the Youth Group will be preparing for coffee hour and serving, so there will be no class this week.  All proceeds from coffee hour will go toward the youth goal of reaching $500 for the OSPCA.

Tomorrow is Anointing Sunday and our Praise Band will be performing some favorites - “From This Valley” , “10,000 Reasons” and many more!

Who is in Charge? Come to Church tomorrow and find out!

Join us for the service tomorrow as Fr. Patrick will be talking about God and Caesar, and asking who is really in charge.

Caily Davies will be leading Sunday School and she will be talking to the kids about the people who look after of us, and exploring ways in which God looks after all of us.

The Youth Group will be discussing “Guys, Girls, and God’s Plan for Teen Relationships”

The Cousins, Beth H., Joanne WK will be serving coffee hour and we all welcome to enjoy fellowship and snacks after the service.

Grow in Your Faith @ Church tomorrow

We welcome you to attend church tomorrow where Fr Patrick will speak about the Law and what kind of reaction we can expect from God when we break it.

The children in Sunday School will learn about how God helps them grow

The Youth Group will be asked the question: “If James was your teacher, what would your Christian report card look like?”

Join us after the service, The Praise Band will be leading Coffee Hour

Come and enjoy tomorrow’s service as it will be a packed-full morning!

 Four things are happening:

1) Kathy Lucking will give us an update on the Madagascar School Project

2) Fr Patrick will be anointing tomorrow for those interested

3) Praise Band Day, we will enjoy our praise band sing

4) Noisy Collection – remember your coins  - all proceeds go to Madagascar School Project

Lots Happening Tomorrow at Church!

Bring your children and grandchildren to the service tomorrow because we are starting a brand new Sunday School season!

Children ages 5-10 are welcome and the first class will be about how God is generous and and when we are generous we are being like Him.

Youth Group will continue their class and the topic is “What do Nike and the Book of James Have in Common”.  They will learn what James has to say about Christianity in real life!

Of course all Adults are welcome to come and enjoy another great sermon delivered by Fr. Patrick, and after service we can enjoy coffee hour served by The Craigs.

Service Tomorrow: Holy Cross Day

We welcome you  to attend Sunday service tomorrow to celebrate the Feast of the Cross (Holy Cross Day). This is where we commemorate the cross used in the crucifixion of Jesus and is a day where we recall the cross itself playing a key instrument in salvation.

Back-to-School, Back to Christ Church & Schedules are up

September signifies a time in everyone’s lives as a time to refresh and get back to routine. Summer comes to an end and kids are starting/returning to school.  In church, all of our ministries resume: Choir, Youth Group, Prayers for Squares & Bible Study Groups.

We welcome you back to church tomorrow morning as we get embark on the back-to-routine mindset.   Father Patrick has been at Christ Church for a month – so if you haven’t met or chatted with him yet or listened to his sermons, tomorrow is the perfect time to start!

Tomorrow there will be a 10am service only.  Please join us in welcoming our new Incumbent Fr. Patrick Stephens and his family.  We will be having a Potluck Luncheon after the service.
